Dr. Krystal Chee

Dr. Krystal Chee was born in Toronto, ON, but grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Chee completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona, and then went on to graduate as a Doctor of Optometry with Honours from U.C. Berkeley, School of Optometry, earning the National Student Award in Clinical Ethics. Her optometric training included externships at Veterans Hospitals in Portland and San Francisco, where she worked alongside ophthalmologists to diagnose and manage conditions including retinal disease, glaucoma, and cataracts. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the College of Optometrists of Ontario.

Dr. Chee is passionate about thorough, comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, and has a particular interest in contact lens care and myopia control. She is happy to meet new patients and serve the eye care needs of the community.

Berkeley, School of Optometry , earning the National Student Award in Clinical Ethics. Her optometric training included externships at Veterans Hospitals in Portland and San Francisco, where she worked alongside ophthalmologists to diagnose and manage conditions including retinal disease, glaucoma, and cataracts. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the College of Optometrists of Ontario , and is licensed to prescribe oral and topical medications for the treatment of ocular conditions


Dr. Chee is passionate about thorough, comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, and has a particular interest in contact lens care and myopia control to slow down the progression of nearsightedness in children. She is happy to meet new patients and serve the eye care needs of the community.


In her spare time, Dr. Chee enjoys calligraphy, cooking, baking, and traveling with her husband and daughter. She has participated in an eye care mission trip in Mexico, and hopes to volunteer with more mission-related trips in the future!
