Our team of Licensed Opticians are readily available to personally assist our patients with their custom prescription and non-prescription eyewear.  Our Opticians regularly attend Continuing Education Seminars, Conferences and Trade Shows to ensure our patients are receiving the latest in lens and frame products, and dispensing techniques.

All of our Opticians are members in good standing with the College of Opticians of Ontario.

Valerie Haslam R.O. – Licensed Optician and Office Manager – Valerie graduated from the Ophthalmic Dispensing Program at Seneca College in Toronto in 1985, and has been dispensing in the Hamilton and Burlington areas since.  She joined Dr. Germain’s practice in 2004.  As the eyewear buyer for Burlington Eyecare, Valerie ensures there is a complete and diverse frame inventory suitable for all ages and lifestyles.  From  fashion forward designer eyewear, to the more practical and casual or sport related lines, we at Burlington Eyecare will professionally fit you with the best in eyewear!

Roger Sales R.O. – Licensed Optician and Lab Manager – Roger brings to Burlington Eyecare, many years of specialized lab service and applications.  Roger manages our on-site lab, enabling us to maintain our high standards of quality control in both the production and dispensing of prescription and non-prescription eyewear.  Roger graduated from Ryerson, and his expertise in the areas of lab work, repairs and dispensing, are second to none.

Mary Sales R.O. -  Licensed Optician – Also a graduate of Ryerson, Mary’s product knowledge and high standards in dispensing skills, ensure that our patients receive the utmost in quality products and service.  With keen attention to patients’ visual demands, detail and quality control, you can be assured you are receiving the best possible in vision, fit and comfort!
