Tonometry

This is a measurement of the eye's pressure. There are two methods of performing this procedure, either by physically touching the eye or by using a puff of air. 

These pressure readings are instrumental in helping Optometrists to detect glaucoma. Higher pressure readings can cause irreversible damage to our vision.  This procedure is done on all our patients over the age of 19.
