Digital Retinal Photography

With advancements in computers and digital images, there has become available the ability to digitally record the appearance of the back of the eye.

A retinal photograph is an excellent way to acquire baseline information on a patient, for future comparison. This is especially important for those with a family history of glaucoma, diabetes and macular degeneration.

We highly recommend this to all our patients over the age of 65 since many eye diseases occur in the later years.
