Digital Anterior Segment Photograph

The anterior segment is the front of the eye, comprised of the lids, conjunctiva, cornea, iris and lens.  When a person gets hit in the eye or has disease in the front of the eye, it’s always a good idea to monitor it by taking a picture. 

At Burlington Eyecare, we have a special microscope with a digital camera system for this very purpose.  This way we can track the eye’s progress and can spot any type of regression.

If the patient has an infection or a recurring infection, it is an excellent idea to photograph the eye to monitor it.
